FM Sailing Extended Tacktick Mast Bracket

from £27.50

Designed & 3D printed in house, and tested to success - on it’s first outing on the water being used to finish 2nd at the RS500 worlds 2025, our extended tacktick mast bracket is the perfect way to jazz up your boat.

We print using a robust, UV stable filament, which means you can buy with confidence knowing that you’re not getting a cheap knock off that’s going to shrink, distort, or break after a week.

Our bracket works in conjunction with the Raymarine Tacktick Microcompass, which is class legal on many dinghies.

Key Features:

  • Recesses for your nyloc nuts, so it’s easier to screw your cradle on, no need for a spanner or pliers!

  • Locating fins on the rear of the bracket slot into the mast track and stop the bracket from being knocked side to side. (Standard extended bracket only)

  • ProGrip Pads on the rear of the bracket help to pad the bracket against the mast section.

  • Helpful “Tack on +” & “Tack on -” text to help you know if you’re on a lift or a header.

Standard extended mast brackets will be supplied with all fixings required to connect a cradle, a length of doublesided velcro to strap round the mast, and a length of sticky-back velcro which applies to the front face of the mast and holds the bracket in place.

The 29er Style extended bracket has the fins removed, and has holes for dyneema & shockcord instead of slots for velcro - as this attachment method is favoured by 29er sailors.
