GP14 Carbon Fibre Tiller Extension
Suitable for use on GP14s and ready to win races, look no further than the FM Sailing GP14 Carbon Fibre Tiller Extension.
We offer the GP14 extension in a short or long version, depending on your personal preference, the short version comes out at 1.0m and is the length used by Ferg Barnham & Fresh at the GP14 Worlds in 2024, and the long version is 1.1m and was the length used by Ben Iliffe & Fresh at the GP14 Nationals in 2019. It all comes down to personal preference, the length of your arms, legs, how easy you find it to pass the extension inside the mainsheet during tacks… your best bet is to measure your current tiller extension and go off that!
Superlight, superstiff, and superfast, our tubes are pullwound and manufactured in an epoxy matrix.
The carbon fibre is multi-layered, internally pull braided, and externally wound with a double helix braid. This provides exceptional resistance to bending and torsional forces.
We think this makes our tiller extensions a cut above the rest.
But as well as being high performance, we also wanted our tiller extensions to be more personal, so we made them super-customisable!
3 different tube diameters to choose from, depending on whether you like it slender, chunky, or somewhere inbetween.
3D printed end knobs available in a variety of colours, and with a chunky or streamlined profile.
Heatshrink grip tubing, available in a variety of colours, or not at all!
3D printed inserts, so your Universal Joint (UJ) fits perfectly, and is easy to replace.
